Immediate need for Customer Care Specialist within the Retail Energy Industry!
Job Summary:

This position will be part of the initial contact fulfillment team for customers interested in our products and will be responsible for assisting customers in completing applications on line and over the phone, informing customers of the product features and terms, and customer account resolution. The Customer Care team works with cross-functional teams - pricing, sales, customer service, and finance to research and resolve system, billing and customer inquiries.
Essential Job Functions:
Receive inbound and conduct follow-up outbound calls including transferring sales leads and calls from current and potential customers
Customer account problem solving and fulfillment
Answer questions about the product details, the company, and issue resolution with account for the customers
Assist customers with minor technical issues experienced
Perform basic account maintenance activities
Ensure compliance of company policies and regulations affairs
Meet Quality Assurance Requirements and other key performance metrics
Interact with utilities (TDSP), third party EDI carriers and other REPs to ensure data synchronization and timely action on customer account transactions

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of electricity markets with 1+ years' experience
Preferred bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
Experience in the natural gas markets preferred
High school diploma or equivalent required
1+ years of customer service experience required
Excellent listening skills and the ability to ask probing questions, understand concerns, and overcome objections
Able to effectively manage multiple priorities and adapt to change within a fast-paced business environment
Must possess a professional and friendly attitude and be able to quickly develop a rapport with customers over the phone
