Original Viceroy Cigarettes Store Hours Vintage Tin Sign - Unusual - $80 (Katy, TX)

The tin sign is for Viceroy Cigarettes, and posts the store hours of operation (open and close) for the week. The hours are small metal segments which are attached to the main sign (see backside picture), and it is unusual compared to the typical tin cigarettes advertising sign. It is marked 'Reg 1944' in the lower right corner, and pictures a Viceroy Filter Tip Cigarettes King Size Pack. The sign is not embossed, but the four edges are rolled over, and it lays nice and flat. I would guess this was made in the early 1960s. The paint colors have darkened in areas with some wear, but it may clean up further with effort. It measures 15" high by 13 1/2" wide. Not a sign you see very often.
