This very rare vintage Big Bertha tank and cannon by Deluxe Reading from 1965 lives up to its name-it’s BIG! It’s also in remarkable condition, coming from a no smoking and no pet home, and has been cared for indoors. She measures about 24" long (32” with guns extended), 12" wide (14” including tires), and 14" high. From the era when toys were made in the USA of plastic and metal, it has no chips, cracks or visible damage and rolls smoothly and has a total of three guns. Amazingly, the original two red plastic cannon balls have survived and the spring-loaded cannon still works and fires the balls about 9’-10’! Unfortunately the other ammo has been lost, but one of the 2 Pom Pom gun barrels works with the crank. Remarkably, all the original decals are still intact, providing a truly impressive display piece, even after 60 years!
