What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
- The customer should determine their budget before they start talking to contractors. Don't raise your budget just because a contractor tells you too. If an honest contractor can't come within your budget rather than convincing you to raise it, they should just give you a bid for the best price they can do the project for, or even better, suggest ways in which you can reduce the cost of your project so you can still come within budget. The customer should also be well aware of the scope of their project, as this is Important information a contractor will need to be able to provide you with the most accurate quote.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a General Contractor for their commercial build?
-Don't pay anything UPFRONT!!! We, like several reputable contractors, do not charge deposits upfront before any work is done. When you give a business a deposit upfront it sets you up for a chance to take a loss. Just remember if the contractor can't take care of their business, why would you trust them with yours?! When you choose a contractor they should be investing in you and your business like you are investing with theirs to give them your business. Like other reputable General Contractors, we never charge upfront and work off a progression payment schedule in which you are paying payments as different work is completed. Also ensure the company you hire is well equipped to do the work you need done. On occasion you have very small company's that will "lowball" a bid to get the contract. But once the contract is signed, they try to expand the scope of work, do not do a quality job, or just take forever to actually execute the work because they are too busy chasing contracts for cash flow rather than taking care of the customers they have.

- We offer upfront easy to understand pricing, with itemized pricing rather than single line item bulk pricing estimates. Most other reputable contractors can't come close to our prices for large jobs, we also offer competitive rates for smaller jobs too.

What is the typical process for working with a new customer?
- Typically we get the details of your project first so we can totally understand the scope of your project. The next step is establishing your budget, and what you are wanting to spend to get this project done. The next step would be to go through ways in which you can save money on your project by changing small details if you wish or ways you can get more for the money using more economic construction methods and materials. We will then present you with a detailed bid, itemizing costs and fees up front. After that, the ball is in your court and you decide how you want to proceed. We usually only issue one estimate per project and the estimate is good for up to 30 days after it's issued for you to be able to sign a contract with that pricing. If you sign a contract for us to complete your project, the price never changes based the scope of work, the only time your cost would ever change with us, would be if the scope of the work has changed. In which case would need to be approved by you before any action would be taken on our part. We are full service and put you in the drivers seat as far as making decisions, and we execute your decisions with haste!
