Role description:

We are searching for multiple OpenLink/Endur Configuration Leads. The Configuration Lead will architect, configure and setup the Endur solution such that it meets the business requirements and can successfully process the Crude and Refined Products transactions from deal capture through settlements. This lead must understand the client's business concepts, and must know how to configure the OpenLink/Endur software. They will be responsible for translating business requirements into a solution design, modeling transactions through the system to ensure that the business requirements are met and thoroughly understanding the capabilities of the system such that they can suggest alternative approaches to the configuration of the product, as well as suggesting enhancements to the system that would achieve the business objects. This Configuration Lead will liaise with the OpenLink/Endur business teams, as well as with technical development team who will be responsible for coding the required AVS scripting. We require a Configuration Lead for each of the two following areas:

Operations/ Scheduling Lead Configuration - must have experience with the gMotion product, a Gas and Power scheduling application, dealing with gas pipeline operations and scheduling. Responsible for the setup and configuration of gMotion, as well as the new cMotion product from OpenLink.
Front-Office/ Risk Configuration lead- Responsible for the setup and configuration of Trade Manager for deal entry and Market Manager for risk. Must have experience in deal capture, trading and risk, price curves, P&L and exposure reporting to translate the front- and mid-office business requirements into a solution design for Trade Manager and Market Manager modules of the systems. Ideal candidate is deeply skilled in both but will consider candidates who have familiarity with either.
The OpenLink/Endur Configuration Lead/ Architect will be responsible for the management of the configuration of the OpenLink Endur solution from design through testing/ deployment. This involves managing the resources responsible for the delivery of the configure system (and documentation supporting that configuration) . Planning and project management skills in a delivery organization are key for this. Additionally, this resource will use their Endur / Trading experience to ensure that the integration of the configuration with Core and Custom builds is architecturally (functionally and technically) sound. They will support the management team in managing through to conclusion functional issues as they arise through the build and test processes.

Key responsibilities may include:

Creating overall application design and solution architecture
Developing business process and functional designs
Creating functional requirements as an input to application design
Developing and testing business solution components and prototypes against detailed functional designs
Application build, test, and deploy activities

Basic Qualifications:

You will provide daily management, architectural and technical guidance to software development, as well as ensure sound design, process, and quality procedures are followed. This is a hands-on manager position that will oversee a programming staff and all related projects and requests.

Candidates considered for this role will have a proven record with 3 - 7 years of experience in project leadership and/or managing a team of technical professionals. Significant accomplishments in software development are also required. This person must be able to understand the day to day functions of programmers and quality assurance professionals. Given the level of responsibility, the ideal candidate will be recognized for their leadership and big picture abilities, and have the technical and management savvy necessary to lead people.

These are just a few key areas you�ll be focusing on:

Manage the execution of Programming Projects, Initiatives, etc. within the programming department, which includes: planning, performing (taking action), code reviews, programming, design, documentation, testing, supervision, scheduling, and monitoring of performance.
Participate in and/or Lead technology evaluations and due diligence investigations for potential technology and tools for our products.
Integration of our products.
Deployment of applications or enhancements to existing applications.
Recruiting, interviewing, hiring, coaching, conducting performance reviews, and developing staff in the programming department.

Education: College degree, experience in lieu of degree or a combination there of is acceptable.
