BRAVO to this person who apparently has some financial limits yet still rescued the kitten and is proving obvious great care according to the pictures showing the progress in just a few days. That sick and injured kitten would likely have died in the heat.

We had always found a way to bring our pets to the vets, and always tried to have money set back for them when in need.

However, my husband had just got laid off from work, and we got into a car wreck and lost our car, it got totaled.

My cat seems to be having an obstruction, I am doing all I can to try and make him go, but I think I need a vet. We just noticed his change of behavior last night. He needs a vet STAT and we just cannot afford to make a full heavy payment. I've tried calling around and I just cannot seem to find a vet that will take a payment plan. Doesn't help that hubby isn't working except a contract job or two a week. Does anyone know where I can go and get him looked at? I do not want to lose this cat, he means the world to me.

I will also find him a home to someone who will bring him to the vets, as long as either me or hubby can go too to make sure he gets seen and treated. I'd hate to give him up, but he doesn't deserve to die. He is so loving, and sweet, and so very beautiful... he helped me so much when my 6yr old cat passed away from renal failure last year.

The extremely nice person who took on a potentially dangerous situation by rescueing the kitten from a homeless man deserves an award for the bravery and blessing they provided for the obvious injured and sick tiny kitten that needed help. Not only that, this person is obviously not in a position to take on the added pressure and financial responsibility, yet did it anyway, because the baby needed help. This person put the kittens needs above their own financial concerns. I wonder how many people just drove by day after day...thousands of cars passing that kitten by. And some of you fools are ridiculing this person for making sure the new owners will provide vet care for the kitten. Unfreaking believable.

Many blessings to the amazing person who put their own troubles asside to make sure the kitten finds a wonderful home. Now I understand the reason for demanding the adoptor meet up at their vet. What a great way to weed out the idiots who think that's a problem, because they are the ones everyone on Craigslist should avoid.

I wish everyone who's on here "rehoming" would follow this person's lead and MAKE SURE you pick new owners who will gladly meet you at their vet so you KNOW FIRST HAND they can afford their new family member and you KNOW they aren't feeding you a line of BS just to get the pet from you. The only way to know a stranger from the Internet isn't lying is to DROP THE PET AT THEIR VET. Or at least call their vet to ensure they do SPAY/NEUTER their pets and they do take their current or past pets for vet care. As soon as the pet drives away with this stranger, you have no control...

As for this person having a houseful of cats they can't afford. So what? People across the country are hurting financially, and at least that person is smart enough not to keep this new addition when the financial circumstances are bad.

I am in awe of how this person is handling this entire deal. It is a VERY lucky kitten to have an angel like that making sure it has a happy future.

And by the way, the homeless people come on Craigslist looking for FREE puppies and kittens, because that's what makes suckers stop to give them money. They aren't all homeless!!!!!!!!! That's just a racket to make money, and they always have baby animals because that's the only reason most people stop. If I ever become homeless, I guarantee you I would sadly but gladly turn over my precious pets to a nice person who offered to get them off the street...and feed them, etc.

His story is sad. He was being neglected along with his mom and littermates. They were in filthy conditions, stepping on their own feces and with no fresh water and lack of food. His mommy had 8 puppies, 4 died of severe diarrhea, 2 were giving away (Who knows if they survived) and we rescued the momma and 2 puppies.

After a long battle and proper vet care the baby girl could not be saved and Joaquin survived, although they both mom and puppy had severe mange.

His fur has grown back and is now shiny and beautiful. Joaquin is ready to be adopted to his forever home.

Joaquin has a sweet personality, gets along with dogs of all sizes, he loves to play!!! He also enjoy quiet times having his belly rubbed. He is being house trained is doing great! He will be neutered soon!

He has had 3 sets of Distemper-Parvo vaccine and will have the Rabies shot soon. He has been dewormed 2 times and does not have worms. I do not do this on my own, my family helps. Because of this, and the fact that we have 5 dogs of our own(2 of which are adults) we can only take in pups or litters up to 10 or 12 wks of age at this time. The oldest I've taken in were 3 1/2 months. We just don't have the room for pups any older. I can however help to advertise puppies or dogs for you if you need help, and they are older. We have fstered adults in the past, and found them homes. We even kept a couple. Our Golden Retriever was a rescue and she is spayed, microchipped, utd on shots, rabies vacc and kept utd on heartworm prevention. We also kept a chihuahua puppy that was a rescue/foster. She is kept utd on all as well as microchipped herself. So if I cannot take in one for any reasn I am sorry, but will do my best to help you with your situation. Thanks

Bear is black with just a few white hairs on his chest. He got his name because he was twice the size of all his other brothers and sisters. The same enthusiasm he put into getting milk when he was little he now puts into playing with toys. He is constantly investigating new things and playing with anything available. He does manage to take a couple minutes out of his busy play schedule to be petted every now and then.

The puppies are now 6 weeks old and thriving. Although breeders often wait until eight weeks to start to find homes, there are so many puppies and they are so large, we deemed it appropriate to start to try to find them homes now.

These guys and girls are absolutely adorable. Their mother is about 25 pounds and a mixed breed of terrier. We do not know the parentage on the father's side, and there could certainly be more than one Dad to these pups.

As a rescue organization, we will have to ensure any homes have the capability to provide medical care, including vaccinations, of which they have had their first set, and parasite protection, including heart worm preventative, as well as the necessary spay and neuter surgery.

If you are interested in these puppies, and believe you can provide a great home for them, please contact us with any questions.

I have to take her to the vet to get her baths, because she hates them with a passion. Emily likes to talk at night for a little bit if there is a shut door since she likes to be around people.

Callie Rose is one year old and is a white, orange, and gray tabby. She is my lovebug kitten that tolerates being held, but would rather rub up on a free hand or be pet if she's laying down on you. She does have all of her claws, but she has a scratching post to help with that. She also has a micro-chip. She talks a little bit in the morning and when you come home. Callie Rose LOVES the laser pen.

They like to wrestle each other, and will chase each other around the house. Everyone who has met them have absolutely loved both of them and love to play with them. Callie is shy at first, but she warms up to people pretty quickly. Emily usually warms up to people right away. They've both been around younger kids (about 5 years old to 10 years old), and behave really well with them. They're very easy to care for.
