We are not home enough during the day with work obligations and she loves to be around other dogs, children and people. We love her very much and are sooo incredibly sad to let her go because she is a wonderful companion. We want to rehome her to someone who has other dogs or is home a lot during the daytime or a place with kids.

She is completely housebroken, well behaved. She doesn't chew on things but she loves rawhide bones. She can sit and lay down and she responds well to her name, Bella. She loves to play fetch and she loves dressing up in clothes and LOVES to cuddle with you!

She is up to date with all her vaccines, we had her spayed mid October and vaccinated. We are also including in the rehoming fee her bed, toys, shampoo, heartworm preventative medication, grooming supplies, clothes, 2 collars and tags, leashes and all other supplies. We also have a large dog gate that we can include for an extra $90.00.

We are asking a rehoming fee of $500. If you think this is too much then make another offer and we will take that into consideration. Our first priority is her new environment but we are including all her things too which were priced much more than our asking fee.

We told the shelter staff that if Otis' owner didn't claim him in the three days dogs are given for reclaim before they are put to sleep, that we would take him to our shelter and do a more extensive search for his people. Due to his condition and good nature, the shelter allowed him to stay for over a week just sure that a bereaved owner would show up for the joyous reunion, but no one came.

We picked Otis up around the end of July. We listed him in every local paper, even paid to run ads with his beautiful mug and begging for any information that would help us get him home, but our phone never rang. He's listed on FidoFinder, been run on every area CL.... We put him in our bedroom the first night he came to foster with us, but he wouldn't lay down...he paced to the foot of the bed..then looked at me questioningly...then back to the foot of the bed...back to me. I finally got it, he was used a bed at the foot of his people's bed. I got up, got him a blanket, and placed it at our bed's foot. Otis got right on it, turned the perfunctory three circles, and then settled in for the first good night's sleep he'd had in a while with a sigh.

Don't get me wrong, we know people abandon pets every day, but Otis is different. He's estimated 12 to 14 years old and is very good shape. You don't get to be his age through anything less than good care & lots of love.

Otis is more attached to the man in his foster home and does "worry" when he leaves, though he is not destructive. I suppose that's understandable from a boy who's lost his people once already.

A few nights ago, we were working on the manners & obedience with one of the younger dogs in our home. I was encouraging him to "roll over". Otis was intently watching, I assumed because of the treats in my hand. However, when the young dog failed to obey the "roll over" command, Otis nudged him out of the way, genlty "Sat', then "lay down"and then--with some semi-arthritic effort rolled himself over!!!! The he slowly sat back up & again nudged the hand with the treats in it. If only this old guy could talk...

In a frantic, busy, rescue org. setting, we cannot give Otis the kind of care he deserves after losing his man, but we will not put him down so long as his health holds up. Somewhere, somebody loved this old man, and in honor of the attachment and loyalty Otis & he had, he can live his life out here if that's the best life has to offer him now. However, my dream would be that one of you with a less congested & hectic household would open your heart & home to him so that, while he mourns the loss of his master, there can still be comforting touches and pats on the head throughout his days and a nice, soft bed for him right at the foot of yours. I'm not asking for someone to take on extensive medical bills that can come with age or for anyone to make heroic efforts in this guy's last years, just looking for the basics of care & companionship.

The adoption fee for Otis is waived though an adoption application will still be required (very basic, takes 10 minutes). A donation to help cover his vaccination boosters and microchip would be appreciated and help our rescue out tremendously, but we'll work however we can with a home who'll take this old boy in.

She turned 1 in Sept and is a domestic long hair calico cat. She's very well behaved - doesn't jump on counters, usually learns her lesson after getting squirted with water, and loves people.

Tapi will come with all of her shot records, toys, litter box, and collar. She is a good cat and deserves a good owner that can love her and spend time with her. She is accustomed to being home during the day but once you get home she'll follow you everywhere! She loves to be around people and other kitties too. We have since had her spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, tattooed and de-wormed. She is about 7 months old.


Because we were at our practical capacity BEFORE she was dumped with us, we are offering a half-price adoption if we can find her a great home. (regularly $150, now $75) An adoption application is required as we do not believe it's too much to ask an adopter to spend 15 minutes filling out paperwork before committing 15 years to a new pet. Applicants must be approved before they visit as we are extremely busy.

I intended to take pictures earlier in the day, but time slipped away from me. Anyone seriously interested can e-mail & I'll send some right over.

There have been lots of stories about people getting free kittens for reasons other than to keep them as pets. What I would like is an e-mail telling me a little about yourself, your other animals, etc.

If your reasons for wanting a kitten are for them to be loved pets, I don't think that this will be a problem.

These babies have only been handled a little and will need some time to "warm up", but are already very cute!! We are offering them for free because they have had no veterinary care, but all appear to be healthy and are playful.

Mama cat also needs a home - she is feral and not spayed. She would make a great mouser for someone with a barn or something like that!

My husband and I both work and dont have time to potty train a puppy. She is really good about going outside when we take her, but she still tinkles once through the night and twice while we are at work. Maybe it's because we're not using a crate??? I'm not sure, but we dont think its fair that we let our older dog run around the house all day while we are gone and keep the puppy locked up.

So, we are trying to rehome the puppy and are asking for a $125 rehoming fee. Just to get some of our money back. We dont have vet records, but we have a list of what shots she has gotten and we've dewormed her twice.

She is a pretty green eyed girl and would be a beautiful dog to keep. Unfortunately we dont have time to train her and are in the process of selling our house and we just did not pick a good time to get a new puppy which is completely our fault. Lesson learned.
