Invitation Solutions, a graphic design company specializing in custom wedding/social invitations, is looking for a sale associate who is self-motivated, positive and reliable. You must take pride in customer service, enjoy helping others, have excellent communication skills and be a team player. No experience in the invitation industry is necessary; however, a creative background, retail and/or sales experience is a plus. Your main responsibilities will include inside sales, working directly with customers to select and create their wedding stationery, scheduling appointments, answering the phones, working with our vendors.

We’re looking for a graphic designer that can take us to the next level. Up to this point, my business partner and I have been in charge of the design, packaging, etc. We’ve got a pretty good eye, but we could certainly benefit from the expertise of someone who has experience in clean, innovative design.

Job Summary:
To create high quality, accurate and creative artwork in a timely manner to meet the needs of the clients. Designers work closely with Account Executives to meet monthly advertising deadlines and with staff writers and general managers to place/create images and designs.
Responsibilities:
Produce quality work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and client expectations for creativity and accuracy
Work with other graphic designers and/or creative director to ensure adherence to Community Impact Newspaper’s style guide. Provide art direction as appropriate
Collaborate with Account Executives’ and design professionals in order to produce effective and accurate work
Present necessary artwork/revision to Account Executives on time, ensuring that client has adequate time for review and approval
Maintain an awareness of current fashion of design/art and a working knowledge of the latest industry software
Layout pages in assigned paper / projects while maintaining Community Impact Newspaper’s style guidelines and deadlines
Follow schedule set for production and placement of ads
Communicate with reporters, market editors, account executives, creative directors and general manager to ensure the highest quality paper is printed each month
Serve as project manager when appropriate, coordinating multiple resources and ensuring consistent communication and deliverables
Ensure graphics are correct size, mode, etc for print in Photoshop
Good organizational skills, accuracy and attention to detail. Familiar with working within corporate identity guidelines

job description/duties: We are an upscale photography studio located in Montrose. The studio focuses on top-quality portraits and exceptional customer service. We are in need of a Photoshop CS3 professional in portrait editing with extraordinary attention to detail. We need someone on location, here at the studio, during normal business hours on Tuesday-Friday with an occasional Saturday required (but Mondays are always off!).
required skills: This is not an entry level position. Applicants must know how to color correct, lighten shadows, create balanced lighting, smooth skin and eliminate blemishes, move or edit items from image, have an excellent eye for cropping and balance, and know the difference between RGB, CMYK and Lab, as well as RAW, Tiff, and Jpegs. Must be comfortable in Adobe Lightroom, and proficient on a PC. Design skills with Illustrator and InDesign are a big plus!

We are looking for someone willing to work 15 to 25 hours a week between 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, M-F. Intern may set their own hours, but we ask that they be consistent from week to week.
