Our unique sheetfed, web, fulfillment, mailing and digital facility is seeking experienced Digital Press Operators in the printing industry.
Requirements
Experience with digital print technology, and understanding of digital pre-press operations, a working knowledge of quark, adobe acrobat, In Design, Photoshop and an understanding of print servers and drivers. Degree in Graphic Arts, Imaging Science or Printing Technology prefered or has the Xerox Certification of training in the iGen technology. Knowledge of color calibration processes and instruments desired. Understanding of basic color theory, digital file processing and workflow management is essential. Color graphic design or production experience. Experience with various types of PDLs desired. Proficiency with Desktop publishing/graphics. Proven experience in multi-tasking in a production environment.
