I BOUGHT THE BOAT IN 2003 WITH A BLOWN MOTOR. I TOOK THE MOTOR OUT AND TOOK IT TO A HIGHLY QUALIFIED MOTOR BUILDER IN LAKE HAVASU AZ, WHERE I LIVED AT THE TIME. THE MOTOR IS A BLUE PRINTED AND BALANCED 460 FORD WITH 10 TO 1 COMPRESSION, HIGH END RECREATIONAL CAM, ALUMINUM INTAKE AND A HOLLY 750 DOUBLE PUMP VACUUM SECONDARIES. WHILE THE MOTOR WAS BEING BUILT, I TOOK THE HULL DOWN AND HAD ALL THE FLOOR BOARDS REPLACED, CUSTOM CARPET, CUSTOM SEATS BUILT AND UPHOLSTERED INCLUDING MOTOR HATCH, AND INSTALLED HYDRAULICS ON THE HATCH.

I THEN TOOK THE BOAT TO A OUT-DRIVE SPECIALIST WHO REBUILT THE JET PUMP AND INSTALLED A JET-A-VADER. IT WAS THEN RETURNED TO MY MECHANIC TO INSTALL THE NEW MOTOR, NEW BILGE BLOWER, AND TWO NEW BILGE PUMPS, ONE AUTOMATIC AND ONE MANUAL. THE HULL IS A VERY STURDY HAND LAYED SLEEK CRAFT. THE FIBERGLASS RANGES FROM 1/2 INCH THICK TO 2 INCHES THICK ON THE BOTTOM; IF YOU GET DOWN AND HIT ON THE BOTTOM. ITS LIKE HITTING CEMENT. IT RUNS FAST AND STRAIGHT AND ONLY HAS 22 HRs ON THE DRIVE TRAIN. THE STEREO SOUNDS GREAT AND YOU CAN THROW A ROOSTER TAIL BEHIND IT 20' HIGH AND 250' LONG.

This is a pair of hard to find, Johnson/Evinrude V-4 Cylinder Heads off of a 1973 - 135 HP motor ( the model # if the motor is 135ELS73M ), the heads appear to be in good condition, and the water passages have no pitting from saltwater use, one of the casting # on the head is 317848

From what I understand these are the heads that one would use for a performace V-4 go fast motor, using these heads would require one to use the best fuel one can get : 91-93 octane

This is a matched set ( pair ) of 1973 Johnson V-4 Carburetors, with matching Air Horn, this came of of a 135 HP Johnson V-4 Outboard ( Model # 135ELS73M, S/N # J3872199 ) that is being parted out.

The Carburetor I.D. # is 317 470 D3 and the throat I.D. is 1 5/16"

These are hard to find parts as a complete assembly, and are a must have if one is going to build a go fast Johnson/Evinrude V-4 engine

The Carburetors are in good shape ( no pitting from salt air ), they just need to be soaked in Gumout ( overnight ) and be rebuilt, the Choke shafts move very freely and the throttle plates/shafts move freely and the springs are snappy ( they snap shut, freely )

I think it is considered a short shaft. This little OMC motor has been sitting in the garage for several years but had the water pump impeller replaced by a neighbor and had only been used once before storing it. As you can see from the picture it is pretty dusty I assume it will start but no longer have a boat or gas tank to attach it to. 24 foot Mariah Talarie with a 454 & a bravo 1 lower unit. Extras include 2 ss props. A couple sets of cheap skis. About 5 tubes, ski ropes, & a para sail. The engine cover needs to be redone. The rest of the upolstery could make another season or 2. Top speed is 55. The boat is a great rough water boat. The extra 5 feet over a 19 footer makes a hugh difference. Where the boat really shines is it's almost 2 foot wake. It makes for a nice ramp to send your friends airborn. It's hard to see in the pictures but the boat has a large swim platform & even though she's a fatty. It's real easy to get people in & out of the water. The boat has not been out this year. The pictures are from last year. If you are willing to help clean it & pay half the gas. I wouldn't mind doing a day on the lake for old time's sake. I know I will hate to see it go but the kids are to cool to hit the lake with mom & pop now & we never have the time.
