I'm riding in the Katy Flatland Sunday and just broke a spoke on my Velomax wheel, and nobody in town can replace it without special order (it's a racing wheel with straight tapered spokes). I don't need anything too fancy - just something to get me through the day - so long as it's true.

This has to be a nine speed - with or without cassette - I don't want to have to buy a whole gruppo!

This is a lightweight mountain/road bike designed for getting around on city streets quickly and in comfort. The hybrid design makes it easy to maneuver and 21 speeds gives it the gearing for any incline. I'm willing to negotiate on the price a "little bit" because I can't seem to get it adjusted to reach the highest gear. Maybe someone can dial it in or maybe it doesn't matter since I usually have it set at one comfortable speed. The aluminum frame is lightweight and made in the U.S.A. Narrow street tires produce low resistance, but provide decent traction if you get caught in the rain. Really comfortable gel seat and seatpost shock absorber help take up the bumps. Lots of Shimano components and hubs with good quality wheels and stainless steel spokes. It's great quality for the price. No dents or dings, a few scratches and a missing trim piece on the front sprocket, but in every way, it's ready to go. This is a tall bike 20" frame with 26" wheels suitable for someone 5'10"+. Come take it for a test ride!

I am selling my Trek 7.2 FX. It's a great bike, but I am barely able to use it with work and school taking up all of my time. The only things I've changed on the bike are the pedals. One side of the pedals is flat like a normal pedal, and the other side of the pedal lets you clip in if you have the shoes for it. Normal shoes will work fine, though.

This is a "girls" bike with no bar. Has many gears and is easy to shift to adjust to hills etc. It's very comfortable to ride, you don't have to lean forward and it has a comfortable seat. It works great! I've riden it leisurly for years and just recently. It has a bottle cage, and zipper basket for holding your cell phone. etc. We sold our house and we�re moving back to WA state and selling most everything. Selling a Bianchi Axis Cyclocross frame. I purchased used, and it came with a few surface dings and marks but they're definitely superficial. The frame would make a good starter CX bike for hitting the trails, or for building up a strong commuter bike. The frame was just a bit too small for me, and I only rode it on paved trails as a commuter bike (never got it dirty, in other words). Included with the bike are the brakes, a full set of Avid Shorty 6's that I bought new for it about two years ago. They have stayed on the bike the entire time, and saw maybe 50 miles. Also, I have thrown on some Tiagra shifters and deraileurs from an old road bike. Good for a starter. In addition, there is a cable guide attached -- whoever had the frame before me cut the steering tube a bit short (oh, by the way the size of the bike is a 52, so for someone around 5'6" to 5'9" it's ideal) so I had to rig this little guy. It's sturdy and works just fine. There are some mid level Ritchey handlebars attached to a no name stem, and on-bar brakes in addition to the main brake levers. Like I said it's got some dings and scratches, but nothing major. It would be a good starter/workhorse. I am in the process of moving, so I will not be shipping this item, it is for pick up only. I am asking $250 (Given my timetables, I am hesitant on personal checks, so cash or money order or bank/cashier's checks are preferred) for the whole deal but am willing to entertain any decent offer. This item sale expires on July 25th, as that is when I am leaving.

This sale is for Two Weinmann RM19 27 Inch Wheels. Very little use, maybe 100 miles. Included is an Old School Dura Ace 5 Speed sprocket cluster (probably from the early 1980s) and two Tioga Groundhog off-road tires that are pretty much brand new. They still have the little rubber nubs on. The wheels are 36 spoke, so they're definitely strong enough for riding around Houston, or for long touring rides. They are a bit dirty, mostly just from sitting around. I am posting this as a local pick up sale only. I am moving out of H-Town and don't have the time or resources to mail these, so... (also, I am hesitant to take a personal check due to my timetable -- i will only keep this sale posted until July 25 -- so cash, money order or cashier's check is preffered)
